Manager (New Concept Salon from Japan)

The first branch will be opened in Downtown area (TBC)

■OVERVIEW
Our client will launch a new concept salon in Singapore where provides both shampoo blow and eyebrow design in single visit. With selected product and professional techniques, it gives everyone's hair shine and beauty. You will be surprised with their affordable price also.
■RESPONSIBILITIES
1)Oversee the operation of our first store in Singapore:

Ensure the store meets and exceeds operational and financial goals.
Maintain high standards for customer service and salon cleanliness.
Implement store policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, including sales, customer feedback, and inventory levels.
Coordinate with head office for any required support or directives.

2)Recruit and manage contracts for opening staff (expected 4-5 local staff):

Develop and execute a recruitment plan to attract qualified candidates.
Conduct interviews and select suitable candidates for various positions within the salon.
Manage all aspects of staff contracts, including terms of employment, salary negotiations, and contract renewals.
Provide initial training and ongoing development opportunities for staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.

3)Manage staff schedules and shift effectively for daily operation:

Create and maintain an efficient staff schedule that meets the needs of the business and ensures adequate coverage during operating hours.
Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in staffing levels, business volume, and special events.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations regarding working hours, breaks, and overtime.
Handle any staffing issues, such as absences or conflicts, in a timely and professional manner.

4)Handle administrative tasks related to store operation:

Oversee daily financial operations, including cash handling, bank deposits, and expense tracking.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and equipment.
Process and approve vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.
Prepare regular reports on store performance for senior management.
■REQUIREMENTS
-Proven track record in establishing and running a successful beauty salon
-Hands-on experience in all aspects of salon management, including staff recruitment and training, inventory management, customer service, and financial oversight
-Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain customers
-Skilled in creating a positive work environment and fostering team collaboration
-Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues swiftly and effectively
■PREFERRED SKILLS
-Languages: English and Chinese; Japanese proficiency (JLPT N3 or higher) desirable for a deeper understanding and communication with your CEO and directors in Japan HQ
■SALARY/ GURANTEE
SGD 5,000 ~6,000 (MONTH) Open & Negotiable
