■OVERVIEW

One of our clients is is looking for a talented Senior Frontend Developer to join our engineering team. You can either work on a full remote basis or work in our Singapore office.
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will need to be passionate about web technology, declarative/reactive programming paradigms, testable code and excellent performance. You will primarily deal with the Chrome Developer/Next.js Tools and make sure the product deliver a world-class experience to the thousands of people using our product on a daily basis.

This dynamic start-up is creating the future of Communication with AI. With their automated speech recognition engine, enable us transcribe accurately and insert subtitles into your videos. Currently they acquired over 50k individual users only within a year of first version launched!

■Monthly Salary
JPY600,000 - 800,000/month
≒ SGD 6,000 - 8,000/month
+ Stock option considerable

Bonus: Not defined. Based on business performance, at the discretion of management.
Annual Leave: After the probation period, 14-day leave will be entitled and increase 1 day per working year, max 21days.
Sick leave: Medical leave will be 14-day per year.

■Working hours
9am to 6pm (lunch time 1hour)

■RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Use modern Web technologies and frameworks to develop our frontend platform, components and libraries. At this company, they use Next.js and Typescript
2.Write testable, documented code that is highly maintainable
3.Review designs created by designers to ensure they are functional and meet usability standards
4.Participate in code reviews and testing new features to ensure they are compatible with existing features
5.Create prototypes and mockups of application screens and user interfaces in collaboration with designers and programmers
6.Build and maintain an organization’s website or web applications, under collaboration with backend programmer
7.Lead the junior frontend team in building elegant and sophisticated user interfaces
8.Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and frameworks

■REQUIREMENTS

1.Proven work experience of 5+ years as a Frontend developer
2.Strong experience with modern JavaScript
3.At least some experience with TypeScript and Next.js
4.Experience with CSS, including CSS preprocessors
5.Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
6.In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment.)
7.An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
8.Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
9.Experience with Agile (Scrum)-based software development
10. Background of working with Japanese people or Japanese Language Proficiency like JLPT1~3

■PREFERRED SKILLS

1.Understanding of layout aesthetics
2.Knowledge of SEO principles
3.Experience with backend development work is considered a bonus
4.Experience with the Google Cloud Platform, and the Amazon Web Service
5.Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics
6.Familiarity with graphic-design software (e.g. Figma, Adobe Suite) and content management systems
7.BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
8.Excellent command of spoken and written English and JPT

■SALARY/ GURANTEE

SGD 6,000 ～8,000 （MONTH） Open & Negotiable
